Schedule Information

Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm

• Oversee laundry operations, to include the coordination of production, staffing, and inventory.
• Manage inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and laundry chemicals.
• Develop and enforce quality control procedures to maintain cleanliness and fabric integrity.
• Coordinates preventative maintenance and repairs of laundry machinery and equipment.
• Plan and manage transportation routes for pick-up and delivery of linens.
• Cultivate relationships with department key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
• Create and maintain schedules for laundry processing to meet service deadlines.
• Optimize storage, sorting, and staging areas for maximum efficiency.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate laundry staff to maintain high productivity and adherence to safety standards.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor performance for efficiency and quality.
• Track KPIs, prepare operational reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Performs all other duties assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Leadership & Supervision: Ability to motivate, train, and manage diverse team. [Required]

• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks to meet strict turnaround deadlines. [Required]

• Problem -Solving: troubleshooting equipment issues, supply shortages, or delivery delays. [Required]

• Processing optimization- streamlining workflows for efficiency and cost reduction. [Required]

• Communication- Excellent verbal and written [Required]

• Attention to detail- maintain quality and prevent errors in counts and deliveries. [Required]

• Technical skills- Operating industrial washers/dryers, stream presses, folding machines, and using logistics software. [Required]

• Bilingual: English and Spanish [Preferred]

• Excellent computer and financial skills [Preferred]

• Knowledge of Geo Tab GPS Tracking software [Preferred]

• Logistics experience with tractors and trailers [Preferred]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

• Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]

• Associate's [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• in Supply Chain, Mechanics, Engineering, Facility Management, or Health Care Administration.

Work Experience:

• 2+ years of management experience [Required]

• 2+ years of project management experience in logistics [Required]

• 1+ years of experience in healthcare environment [Required]

• 5+ years of technical experience [Required]
