Advises and directs nursing personnel, responds to Code Blue situations, and manages clinical emergencies. Acts as liaison for patient movement and bed assignments, promoting cost-effective management of staffing, equipment, and supplies. Represents nursing administration during off shifts, authorizes consent or treatment during admissions, and serves as incident commander for disasters.
