Develops, incorporates, and implements evidence-based plans in collaboration with content experts, representatives of target audiences, and other stakeholders to support interprofessional/team coordination of care across the continuum.\nAssists with students and practicing nurses to identify their learning needs, strengths, and opportunities and develops learning activities to grow skill sets based on learning needs.\nEvaluates the effectiveness of educational activities.\nNPD Practitioner may assist others in their professional role development, practice role transitions, and succession planning.\nSupports the preceptor program and provides support at the unit level to the preceptor.\nPromotes certification and advanced formal education.\nPromotes a supportive environment for students by collaborating with academic partners for student placement and a positive student experience. Implements the nursing professional development (NPD) initiatives demonstrating caring behaviors, respect, equity, inclusiveness and empathy in actions and interactions with others. \nIdentifies opportunities for collaboration/partnership related to education and clinical practice.\nEffectively communicates and collaborates with relevant stakeholders related to professional development activities.\nServes as a resource for clinical inquiry process, including identification of potential projects, and/or subject matter expertise.
