Responsible for hiring, evaluating, terminating, educating, and orienting staff. Measures and tracks performance levels. Revises or creates new procedures to optimize patient care or workflow. Functions as acting sonographer in addition to supervisory duties. Organizes and leads meetings as needed. Coordinates with other practices when patient load, vacation schedules, etc., make it necessary. Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with organizational standards and regulations. Provides training and development opportunities for staff. Monitors and maintains equipment and supplies. Addresses and resolves staff and patient issues.
