All while understanding that together we are even better.\nSchedule:\nPRNShift:\nDay (United States of America)Address:\n2350 MEADOWS BLVDCity:\nCASTLE ROCKState:\nColoradoPostal Code:\n80109Job Description:\nPerforms venous, capillary, urine drug screen, swab collection, or other specimen collection.\n\nEnsures quality collection of specimens including appropriate sample container, sample volume, collection priority, and sample identification.\n\nResolves unusual test orders by following up with care giver, reference lab, pathology, or referring to lab leadership when appropriate.\n\nReceives specimens, assesses priority, assures appropriate specimen identification and type, and processes hospital-registered and outreach patients.\n\nCentrifuges, aliquots, and distributes samples to appropriate testing areas, including loading samples onto various analyzers.\n\nPrepares samples for off-site testing, including assessing appropriate sample type, container, and temperature, and completes related paperwork and documentation.\n\nPackages samples for courier transport to off-site testing locations.\n\nParticipates in new associate and student training and orientation.\n\nActively participates in shift-to-shift communication to ensure continuity of laboratory operations and patient care.\n\nHandles and resolves customer inquiries and complaints regarding laboratory results, test requirements, and other laboratory information.\n\nMaintains inter- and intra-department relations through appropriate communication, teamwork, and cooperation.\n\nPerforms waived and moderate complexity testing as defined by guidelines under the supervision of laboratory management.\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nN/A\n\nEducation:\nHigh School Grad or Equivalent [Required]\n\nTechnical/Vocational School [Preferred]\n\nField of Study:\nCompletion of a phlebotomy program\n\nWork Experience:\nPhlebotomy work experience\n\nAdditional Information:\nN/A\n\n Licenses and Certifications:\nNHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) [Preferred] OR NPCE Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) [Preferred] OR ASPT Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) [Preferred]\n\nBasic Life Support (BLS) [Preferred]\n\n Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements)\nPhysical Requirements -
