Looks ahead to fill vacant shifts with internal staff and external supplemental staffing agencies. Inputs accurate census, acuity and staffing data into the scheduling system to generate daily reports, and performs clerical, reception and general office duties. Creates a culture of sensitivity to nurses' needs while filling the patient care bases. Coordinates small program(s) with limited budget/impact.\nJob Requirements:\nEducation and Work Experience:\nHigh School Education/GED or equivalent: Required\nAssociate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred\nEssential Functions:\nCreates, maintains and updates daily staffing sheets, as well as updating the “working” master schedules on a daily basis. Coordinates with bed control to ensure required assignments are staffed.\nMaintains and updates employee contact information for designated areas. Maintains staff qualifications list.\nMaintains attendance records, on-call and float lists. Processes leave requests.
