Our flat and self-directed culture gives you the autonomy to make an impact while working with highly skilled colleagues.\nTHE ROLE\nAs a GIS Data Engineer, you will design, develop and maintain geospatial systems together with our customers and other Advians. You will work hands-on with geospatial data and take ownership of selected solutions, with support from experienced colleagues as you get familiar with them.\nYour responsibilities include:\n- Designing and implementing geospatial data pipelines and integrations\n- Developing and continuously improving GIS solutions\n- Taking ownership of selected solutions and their development\n- Working closely with customers and other Advian experts\n- Identifying and bringing forward ideas for improvement, automation and new technologies\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nWe would be a great match if you have:\n- Hands-on experience with FME and building data pipelines\n- Experience with open-source GIS technologies such as QGIS, GeoServer and Oskari\n- Experience with databases, especially PostgreSQL/PostGIS\n- Good skills in Python and SQL\n- Fluent Finnish (must have) and English\nIt is considered a plus if you have:\n- Experience with AWS or Azure and Docker\n- Knowledge of OGC standards\n- Experience with software development and version control\n- Experience with point cloud processing and related tools\nWHY ADVIAN\nAt Advian, there are many ways to grow your expertise.
