This is a greenfield role focused on building secure, reliable, and automated systems from the ground up. You will be responsible for moving our operations from a reactive to a proactive state, directly enabling our development team to deliver value faster and more safely.\nWhat You'll Do:\nOwn, manage, and optimize our cloud infrastructure on AWS.\nDesign and implement an infrastructure security strategy, including vulnerability scanning and access controls.\nEstablish and automate our system update and software patching processes.\nDevelop a monitoring, logging, and alerting system to proactively identify and address issues.\nLead our incident response process and conduct blameless post-mortems to drive improvements.\nImplement and manage CI/CD pipelines to improve our development lifecycle.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nCore Skills:\n\nStrong, hands-on experience managing production environments in AWS (EC2, S3, EKS, VPC, IAM).\nProficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi.\nKnowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).\nUnderstanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).\n\nWork Style:\n\nYou are comfortable with high levels of ownership and autonomy.\nYou prioritize simple, robust solutions over unnecessarily complex ones.\nYou focus on building automated and preventative systems to minimize future incidents.\nYou can clearly communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to the team.\n\nNice to Have:\nAn interest in American sports or sports betting is a plus, as it provides context for our
