Fund Accountant\n\nYour Day-to-Day\n\nCalculate and review Net Asset Values (NAV) for investment funds in line with applicable local GAAP/IFRS requirements and internal procedures.\n\nPerform second-level controls and ensure high standards of accuracy and quality.\n\nReconcile cash, securities and shares in issue, investigate discrepancies and follow up on outstanding items.\n\nVerify fund pricing against approved sources and investigate any values outside tolerance thresholds.\n\nEnsure NAV calculations and publications meet agreed deadlines.\n\nMonitor operational and financial risks, report errors promptly and escalate significant issues to management.\n\nSupport the full fund lifecycle, including fund launches, share class changes, mergers, migrations and liquidations.\n\nPrepare year-end closing and audit documentation, ensuring timely availability of supporting records and responses to auditors.\n\nHandle client queries professionally and maintain strong internal and external working relationships.\n\nContribute to process improvements, maintain procedures, train junior colleagues and new team members, and review and archive NAV packs.\n\nYour Profile\n\nProven experience of 6 to 9 years in fund accounting, including Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation and control.\n\nGood knowledge of local GAAP and/or IFRS, fund accounting procedures and internal control standards.\n\nUnderstanding of operational and financial risks associated with fund administration.\n\nExperience with reconciliations, pricing controls, financial reporting and audit support.\n\nAbility to investigate discrepancies, manage outstanding items and escalate issues appropriately.\n\nStrong organizational skills and ability to meet strict reporting and publication deadlines.\n\nAttention to detail, analytical mindset and commitment to quality.\n\nGood communication skills and a professional approach to client relationships.\n\nAbility to support projects, improve procedures and assist in training junior colleagues.\n\nKnowledge of ISAE 3402 standards is an advantage.\n\nEnglish and french
