Pay Range:

$44.15 - $66.25

Partners to develop and advance The Beacon’s community-centered ecosystem model. This role coordinates and influences the people, projects, partnerships, programs, and activation efforts needed to advance The Beacon from planning through launch and into sustained community impact.

Major Responsibilities:

Program and Project Coordination

  • Develop and manageproject milestones, dependencies, risks, and next stepsto ensure work progresses on time and in alignment with organizational priorities.

Community and Partner Engagement

  • Leadcommunity engagement efforts that strengthenThe Beacon’s visibility, credibility, and relationships within the Near West Side and broader Milwaukee community.

Beacon Activation and Event Support

  • Planand executepre-opening and ongoing community activation activities, including community events, advisory meetings, program previews, partner convenings, and public-facing engagement opportunities.

Operational Support and Readiness

  • Evaluate and advancelaunch-related milestones, partner onboarding, and community-facing activation efforts.

Communication, Reporting, and Documentation

  • Developstorytelling and awareness-building strategiesaround The Beacon’scommunity impact initiatives, programs, partnerships, and activation efforts.

Metrics, Evaluation, and Continuous Improvement

  • Develop, track, and analyzemetricsrelated to program performance, partnership engagement, community activation, and operational readiness, interpretdata to assess progress toward strategic goals and recommendcontinuous improvement efforts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively across Community Health & Impact, National Center for Clinical and Community Impact, communications, marketing, government affairs, real estate, planning/design/construction, programleads, anchor partners, and community stakeholders. Leadspecial projects and strategic initiativesas assigned by Beacon leadership to advance organizational priorities and emerging opportunities.

Education:

Bachelor’sdegreeor equivalent knowledge in

  • Public Healthor similar

  • Health Administration

  • Community Health

  • Social Science

  • Nonprofit management

Certification / Registration / License:

  • None Required.

Preferred:

  • PMP

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in community engagement, healthcare administration, nonprofit management, public health, project management, or related field.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with diverse community stakeholders preferred.

  • Experience coordinating projects and events preferred.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with community outreach and stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to analyze information and translate insights into action.

  • Passion for health equity, community impact, and population health improvement.
