Pay Range:
$63.45 - $95.20Provides leadership and oversight to ensure completeness and accuracy of the Foundation’s monthly financial statements, quarterly consolidation inputs, the adequacy of various pledge receivables and other reserves, and other external reporting or benchmarking requirements associated with the Foundation.
Major Responsibilities
Develops and recommends treatment for internal and external financial accounting and reporting issues, long term operating forecasts, and the overallconsolidatedFoundation annual operating budget. Supervises and reviews direct reports and efficient operation of the financestaff.
Completes monthlyconsolidatedfinancial statementpackagefor Corporate Accounting based on FASB and GASB reporting requirements.
Ensurescompliance with requisite document retentionrequirements.
Manages performance and maintenance of Foundation procedures and policies as well as recommendations forimprovements.
Monitorscontinuous workload and methodologies used to achieve results, making recommendations to improveefficiencyand/or achieve cost savings whenever possible.
Ensures that the Foundation’s internal and external financial statements and records aremaintainedin accordance withgenerally acceptedaccountingprinciples.
Provides facility administrators, physicians, development staff, and donors with various financial analyses as well as insights into understandings of the data.
Preparesfinancial statements and budgets including relatedsupportingdocumentation.
Monitors all financial activityimpactingFoundation cost centers to ensure accuracy and proper classification within theappropriate ledgersand funds.
Reviews monthly reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and certifying them for submission in the Blackline reconciliation software.
Performs reviews, research and other financial analysis independently or as requested byLeadership.
Analyzes complex transactions to ensureappropriate accountingtreatment both for internal and externalreporting,to includeinthe annual audit and 990 return.
Interfaces withvendorforpreparationofcharitable solicitation registrations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financeisrequired.

Work Experience
Minimum of7yearsrelated work experience
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to readand analyzereports,analyze financial statements. Knowledge ofspreadsheetand word processing software isessential.Effectiveproblem solving, methodical, detail-oriented, and analytical, with the ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate with different individuals and functions across the organization.
