Offsite, by phone call.\nPay Range:\n$20.80 - $31.20MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES\nActs as a resource and role model to department staff on training/orientation, and day-to-day work direction. Monitors department productivity, staffing levels, and directs effort and/or guidance on more complex issues.\nAssists in the investigation of procedure, process, and/or performance failures aiding in resolution. Reviews and reports discrepancies to leadership. Documents appropriate information for quality assurance/improvement according to established protocol. \nAssists with Human Resource responsibilities, which may include interviewing and selection of new staff, staff development, and resolution of teammate general concerns. \nAssists in interpreting department policies / procedures and advises and updates department staff on procedural changes. Maintains constructive and effective communication to enhance department performance. \nPerformsall duties related to courier and dispatch roles to ensure department staffing levels are maintained. \nCollaborates with internal and external customers to coordinate and validate business rules and execute new account implementations. \nOversees the logistics database systems for proper functionalityand utilization. Utilizes data for route design or adjustments to business changes.\nProvides administrative support to department leadership related to data spreadsheets, route sheet reviews, and correction of inaccurate data. Reviews, edits, and updates logistics hospital schedule on an ongoing basis.\nAssists with reporting of data for logistics key responsibility areas and metrics review. \nMINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED\nLicense/Registration/Certification Required: Valid Driver’s License\nEducation Required: Associate degree or equivalent experience.\nExperience Required: Typically requires 2 years of dispatch, courier or administrative experience.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED\nDemonstrates ability to direct and lead a group of staffon department daily activities\nExcellent communication skills\nBasic computer skills including experience using computer software applications\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under general direction\nDemonstrated customer service skills to interfaces with internal and external customers\nDemonstrates a willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include working an alternative site or shift assignment\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS\nOperates all equipment necessary to perform job functions\nFrequently lifts 20lbs.
