Ideal candidate would live in/near Atlanta, GA.\nPay Range:\n$63.45 - $95.20Major Responsibilities\nProvides leadership, technical direction, and development for the Network Engineering team responsible for enterprise routing, switching, wireless, load balancing, internet connectivity, WAN, SD-WAN, and related infrastructure services.\nDevelops and executes network strategies, roadmaps, standards, and engineering practices to support organizational growth, reliability, and digital transformation initiatives.\nBalances operational stability with technology innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and recommending appropriate solutions.\nPartners with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to design, review, and approve integrated technology solutions.\nEnsures network designs support high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and regulatory requirements.\nOversees operational performance, service availability, capacity planning, monitoring, maintenance, and lifecycle management activities.\nEstablishes and monitors performance metrics, service level objectives, and operational KPIs.\nLeads major incident response activities and root cause analysis efforts while driving continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsures effective change management practices are followed to minimize risk and service disruption.\nCoordinates engineering resources, project timelines, budgets, vendor activities, and stakeholder communications.\nProvides status reporting, risk identification, mitigation planning, and executive communications regarding project and operational activities.\nEstablishes performance expectations, career development plans, and succession strategies.\nSupports recruitment, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.\nPromotes a culture of technical excellence, accountability, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
