Assists in keeping the area completely stocked. \nAdheres to departmental rules and regulations while performing in a professional manner always. \nLicensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:\nCertified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (S). \nOne of the following registries are required: Abdomen (AB), or Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN). \nBLS certification is required.\nEducation Required:\nGraduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program required in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or General Ultrasound.\nExperience Required:\nNone\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:\nDemonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.\nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:\nRequires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers. \nRequires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment and supplies up to 600 pounds with assistance. \nWork requires walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting during normal operation. \nRequires mental skills to read and comprehend patient orders and technical materials. \nMotor coordination needed to operate heavy and delicate equipment.\nIntact sense of sight and hearing \nThis job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of the incumbent.
