This is a unique opportunity for an experienced business analyst and HR technology leader to influence enterprise strategy, partner with senior leaders, and design the future state of HR processes and digital experiences across one of the nation's largest health systems.
About This Opportunity
As a Business Analyst Senior , you'll serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner responsible for leading complex, enterprise-level HR initiatives. You'll own key HR domains end-to-end, translating business strategy into scalable processes, technology solutions, and measurable outcomes.
You'll work at the intersection of HR, technology, analytics, and AI, helping shape how Advocate Health leverages digital capabilities to improve efficiency, enhance teammate experiences, and deliver business value.
What You'll Do
- Lead enterprise-wide discovery efforts, future-state design initiatives, and HR transformation programs.
- Define and govern end-to-end HR processes, value streams, and operating models that align strategy with execution.
- Partner with HR, Technology, and governance leaders to evaluate and implement innovative solutions, including AI-enabled capabilities.
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps that support enterprise priorities and long-term organizational goals.
- Present insights, recommendations, and business cases to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Facilitate complex decision-making by translating ambiguity into actionable plans and structured recommendations.
- Establish business analysis standards, frameworks, and best practices that improve decision quality and consistency across teams.
- Analyze system impacts, trade-offs, risks, and optimization opportunities across HR technologies and business processes.
- Define AI evaluation criteria, governance standards, and success metrics to ensure responsible and value-driven adoption.
- Utilize advanced analytics, KPIs, and OKRs to measure performance, evaluate outcomes, and guide strategic priorities.
- Partner across HR, IT, and business teams to deliver solutions that improve teammate and leader experiences.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in HR business analysis, HR technology, or related strategic consulting roles.
- Strong understanding of Workday and its role in supporting end-to-end HR processes and digital transformation.
- Experience developing roadmaps and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Expertise evaluating system impacts, business trade-offs, and process optimization opportunities.
- Experience designing and tracking KPIs, OKRs, and performance measures.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation capabilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting large-scale HR transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to AI-enabled technologies, governance frameworks, and digital workforce strategies.
- Experience creating enterprise process maps, operating models, and future-state designs.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and product operating models.
- Experience with tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar process design platforms.
