Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.\nCDD Direct Customer Onboarding team\nAdyen is looking for a hands-on CDD Risk Analyst to join our Direct Customer Onboarding team and contribute to the growth and scaling of our customer base in EMEA. In this role, you will onboarding of merchants, including enhanced due diligence, KYC checks, and assessing the anti-money laundering risks, to protect Adyen and our customers. You will be working with a wide range of teams within Adyen, including commercial, compliance, and product to ensure that our customers and understanding of them remain up-to-date and compliant. You are expected to be very detail-oriented, take a risk-based approach, and have the ability to think critically with scalability always in mind, all while maintaining a high caliber work product.\nWhat you will do\nEnd-to-End Onboarding: Manage end to end onboarding flows for enterprise accounts, conducting in-depth due diligence, analyzing complex ownership structures, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory obligations and internal policies.\nQuality & Accuracy: Maintain \"first-time-right\" quality accuracy across all risk assessments and regional compliance standards as well as regulatory expectations.\nMerchant Communication & Guidance: Act as the primary point of contact for merchants during onboarding, providing clear guidance and internal advice.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, compliance, and product teams to balance risk mitigation with business scalability growth, as well as have a critical eye on our own internal processes.\nRisk Escalations: Handle complex risk escalations, providing expert analysis and decision-making on high-risk onboarding scenarios.\nPolicy & Standards Alignment: Align local operational procedures with global policy requirements and second-line compliance standards.\nWho you are\n3-6 years of experience in Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), or KYC.\nHigh sense of responsibility, integrity, and ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs.\nCurious, analytical, and critical mindset with a strong problem-solving orientation and risk-based approach.\nClear communicator and team player, comfortable navigating ambiguity and tailoring messages for diverse audiences.\nExperience collaborating with commercial stakeholders to navigate discussions while maintaining robust risk standards.\nExperience with policies, procedures, and product teams to identify gaps and enhance processes.\nOur Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments \nOur unique approach is a product of our diverse perspectives.
