This role will be based in our Amsterdam office and reports directly to the Global Design Team Lead.\nThis Senior Digital Designer role has a strong focus on shaping our digital experiences, especially our website. Collaborating with the Digital Experiences team, you’ll deliver templates and components in line with our website design system, optimized for demand generation, demand capture and engagement on adyen.com.\nThe ideal candidate is systems thinker, used to working with Product Management, Front End Development and UX. Furthermore, this role requires strong project management, stakeholder management skills and coaching skills. \nWhat you’ll do\nDevelop high-quality designs for our digital experiences, in line with our design system and adhering to our brand & design guidelines.\nConceptualize and create responsive designs for adyen.com.\nScope work and assess feasibility through pressure testing with engineering, striking a balance between reusing parts of the design system and creating net new elements.\nManage multiple projects concurrently throughout all stages of the design process, from inception to final delivery.\nTake ownership and accountability for assigned projects, ensuring timelines, and quality standards are met.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and development, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.\nProactively identify and address any project-related challenges or issues, seeking solutions and maintaining a focus on project goals and objectives.\nCreate and maintain scalable design systems, templates, and asset libraries that can be leveraged by other teams or regions.\nProactively manage stakeholder relationships and navigate challenging conversations with confidence and clarity.\nWhat you are: \nYou have 7+ years of professional experience working as a digital designer (agency and B2B experience are a plus).\nYou’re well versed in UI, UX, design systems and know what it takes to build a commercial website for scale.\nYou are highly proficient in Figma, Adobe CC, and comfortable using (AI) technologies to build solutions that help you scale and optimize your designs.\nWhatever the task, your approach is always underpinned by a clear logic, data driven, and you design with scalability in mind.\nYour portfolio includes component and systems work, responsive design and success metrics.\nYou are a team player who understands the value of collaboration and an all-hands-on-deck approach in a fast-paced environment.\nYou have the ability to self-start, stick to deadlines, and drive projects forward, while being open and comfortable with iteration and feedback.\nYou’re comfortable coaching colleagues and guiding external parties (freelancers & agencies) to obtain on-brand assets fit for business purposes.\nYou have full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in English.\nSome domestic and international travel is required.\nOur Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments \nOur unique approach is a product of our diverse perspectives.
