This is a pivotal moment to shape the future of Financial Products at Adyen, and your impact will be felt across the company and beyond.\nWhat you'll do\nScale and expand our foundation that supports the needs of all Adyen products;\nProvide architectural and design leadership to build a strong foundation for our Financial Products offering;\nDesign and build new rails as Adyen expands their financial products;\nMentor engineers to uphold high standards of and technical excellence;\nDrive a culture of continuous innovation by challenging the status quo and introducing transformative ideas.\nWho you are\nMust have:\n2+ years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in the banking or fintech sector;\n10+ years of hands-on development experience in a modern engineering environment;\nTechnical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers and leading an engineering strategy;\nHands-on experience designing and building large scale distributed systems;\nStrong background and hands-on experience coding with Java;\nPlatform mindset. Able to generalize complex processes and create simple and flexible services to support multiple products;\nProactive relationship-builder with strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with diverse stakeholders across cultures;\nSelf-starter who can identify problems and figure out solutions\nThis role's annual base salary range is $258-$367k, plus RSUs.
