If you are an experienced landscape architect interested in working in a dynamic and collaborative environment and have the desire to do it alongside the best design staff in the northwest, we invite you to apply.\nYour skill set.\nA Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture \nLandscape Architectural licensure preferred\nLEED or sustainability accreditation preferred\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience working in a landscape architecture capacity \nExperience with commercial and residential design \nPassion for design and landscape architecture, possessing an outstanding ability to communicate complex design ideas to audiences with varying degrees of design knowledge\nProficiency in AutoCAD and design drafting and knowledge of 3D modeling software such as SketchUp \nDemonstrated experience working through entire project process from concept to construction completion \nExperience participating in client meetings, contract coordination and development of requirements and specifications \nPossess strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills \nExplore innovative solutions for performative site design and infrastructural systems \nWork effectively within a collaborative team environment and multi-disciplinary design teams\nAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously prioritizing within studio needs \nMust be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, or possess a work visa to legally work in the U.S. \nA day in the life.\nContribute to a variety of different types of projects as our “in house” landscape architect \nWork fluidly between studios assisting in multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines\nProvide technical expertise to generate documents for projects ranging in size and scope\nEnsure quality control on all deliverables\nUnderstands the fundamental relationships and contractual obligations between the designers, consultants, owner and contractors\nRepresents A&E + SMA Design in all client communications in regular intervals between all stages of the agreement and post-agreement activities\nExecute client agreements with defined scope and schedule, educating clients about the defined terms\nSchedule, attend, and record required meetings with clients, project team members, and stakeholder groups\nMaintain constant updates related to project completion, including schedule and billing milestones\n Strive to innovate, learn, and improve, never settling for the status quo\nPerks of the work.\nYou simply won’t find a group of individuals more talented, dedicated, or fun than the movers-and-shakers at A&E + SMA Design.
