(AECI)!\nAECI is offering a paid Editorial Internship in our corporate communications department at our headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, with an anticipated start date of January 2027. This year-round opportunity offers part-time work during the spring and fall semesters, with the potential for full-time hours during the summer. Normal working days are Monday through Friday. You may also be eligible to receive course credit through your school.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nSupport internal and external communications, public relations and member communications.\nHelp with reporting, writing, editing, research, proofreading, archiving and photography.\nAssist with special events, trade show exhibits, website and brochure content, and presentations.\nMonitor social media and traditional media for news, mentions and issues affecting AECI and its members.\nWhat you’ll need:\nCurrent enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in journalism, communications or a related field throughout the internship.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word.\nJournalism experience, including familiarity with AP style, interviewing and fact-checking, preferred.\nExperience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred.\nReady to apply?\nVisit www.aeci.org/careers to complete your profile and apply.
