This paid summer internship offers exposure to environmental compliance or workplace safety-depending on your degree program-while you learn from experienced professionals and see how EH&S supports safe, responsible, and reliable power generation.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupport environmental monitoring, data collection, and compliance activities involving air, water, and waste.\nAssist with workplace safety inspections, audits, training, and other initiatives that help protect employees and plant operations.\nCollaborate with plant professionals and contribute to projects that support continuous improvement, environmental stewardship, and a strong safety culture.\nWhat You’ll Need\nCurrently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.\nAbility to commit to a three-month summer internship.\nAt Associated Electric Cooperative, all of our 700+ employees across MO/AR/OK territory play a crucial role in powering our mission!
