Working under the guidance of experienced engineers and project managers, you will contribute to the delivery of complex infrastructure projects while gaining exposure to project planning, stakeholder engagement, commercial management, and multidisciplinary coordination.\nThis role is ideal for graduates who are interested in building a career that combines strong technical capability with future leadership and project management responsibilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Responsibilities\nAssist in the structural assessment, analysis, and design of bridges, marine structures, rail infrastructure, buildings, and other transport assets.\nSupport inspections, condition assessments, load ratings, rehabilitation studies, and engineering investigations.\nPrepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, and design documentation.\nParticipate in site inspections, construction support activities, and engineering assurance reviews.\nApply Australian Standards, client requirements, and engineering best practice principles to project delivery.\nContribute to innovative engineering solutions, digital engineering initiatives, and sustainable infrastructure outcomes.\nProject Management & Delivery Responsibilities\nSupport project managers in the planning and delivery of projects across the asset lifecycle.\nAssist with project scheduling, resource planning, cost tracking, and progress reporting.\nParticipate in project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.\nHelp manage project risks, opportunities, quality requirements, and safety obligations.\nSupport multidisciplinary collaboration across transport, civil, maritime, geotechnical, environmental, and construction teams.\nDevelop commercial awareness by contributing to project budgeting, change management, and proposal preparation activities.\nBuild communication and stakeholder management skills through client interactions and project workshops.\n Essential\nFinal-year student or recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Postgraduate Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.\nStrong interest in structural engineering and infrastructure projects.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.\nThis role is for the 2027 Graduate Program.
