Join us.\n AECOM is seeking an experienced Air Quality Engineer for immediate employment at our Chelmsford, MA office. This position is within our air permitting and compliance group.\nThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:\nPreparation of air permit application packages\nAir permitting strategy development\nAir regulatory review and compliance\nPreparation of air emission inventories\nPrepare proposals and cost estimates\nWork closely with clients to develop strategies that will aid the client in maintaining compliance and operational flexibility while meeting client’s expectations related to scope, budget, schedule and quality\nMust have strong communication and technical writing skills, and strong math and computer skills\nAbility to work well in teams.\n Minimum Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in environmental, civil or chemical engineering or similar field +4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education\n4 years of air quality permitting and regulatory compliance experience\nValid Driver’s License and as a condition of employment must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.\nDue to the nature of work, US citizenship required.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBusiness development experience including proposal development\nExperience interpreting and implementing State and Federal air quality regulations\n6+ years of air quality permitting and regulatory compliance experience\n Sponsorship is not available for this position.\nRelocation is not available for this position.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
