Join us.\n No prior experience required and all training will be provided.\nJob Summary\nWe are seeking a Site Technician to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality survey services. The role involves conducting visual condition surveys and inspections, primarily on roads, to support infrastructure projects. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct accurate and detailed condition surveys on roads and other infrastructure. \nEnsure all survey data is collected and recorded in compliance with project requirements and industry standards. \nOperate and maintain survey equipment to ensure optimal performance. \nDrive to and from survey locations, ensuring timely and efficient travel. \nTow trailers and transport equipment safely and in accordance with legal requirements. \nAdhere to health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). \nCollecting survey data on handheld devices. \nUndertake asset data collection surveys employing GPS enabled handheld devices. \nCollaborate with project teams to ensure survey results meet project objectives. \n Here’s what we’re looking for:\n5 GCSEs (Including Maths and English grade C and above) \nFull UK Driving licence \nA detail-driven approach with a strong focus on accuracy and safety \nAbility to work independently \nReliability and punctuality \nPrevious experience in surveying, civil engineering, or highways projects is advantageous, as well as relevant competencies such as:\nCSCS Card - proof of site safety awareness. \nSafety Critical Medical - fit for safety-critical work. \nTrailer Towing Competency - ability to transport equipment safely. \nPrevious van driving experience. \nWork Environment\nThis role is primarily site-based, involving outdoor work in varying weather conditions. \nWorking away from home Monday-Friday will be required for some projects. \nWorking occasional night shifts, paid at 1.5x your standard hourly rate. \n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
