team which forms part of our Advisory business and we are looking for highly motivated applicants who possess outstanding analytical communication and creative skills.\nAs an Associate you will undertake the delivery of complex projects across the full spectrum of advisory activities under minimal direction while managing a team and leading one or more project teams delivering consulting services across a cross section of areas.\nOther practice areas within our Advisory business includes Asset Project Monitoring P3 Technical Program Strategy Procurement and Construction Business Intelligence services allowing the successful candidate an opportunity to collaborate across our Advisory team and advise our clients on a wide range of projects across built asset and infrastructure sectors.\nDesirable Knowledge and Expertise\nCandidates will be expected to possess deep expertise in one or more of the following:\nGood working knowledge of Middle East design and construction projects conditions of contract and contractual issues.\nDemonstrable skills in the implementation and monitoring of project risk management on building and infrastructure projects.\nFamiliarity with risks associated with new and refurbishment projects.\nExcellent knowledge of project risks associated throughout the project life cycle together with experience of preparing and implementing suitable risk management strategies.\nMust be capable of chairing risk meetings and following up with project team members at all levels.\nFamiliarity with risk management software used for recording and reporting risk.\nDemonstratable skill in quantitative cost risk assessment (Monte Carlo).\nSpecific risk management qualification would be preferred.\nTechnical Skills Range\nCandidates will be expected to possess skills in one or more of the following:\nMicrosoft Office Suite.\nVisio Excel Tableau Power BI data manipulation and analytics.\nWeb based data analytics visualization and presentation software.\nProject management project work planning scheduling and resource deployment.\nBusiness development market planning and client relationships.\nSpace programming user research design strategy and conceptual design.\nRevit GIS Python or other space planning / design CAD systems.\nCulture and Personality\nCandidates will be expected to possess as many of these attributes as possible:\nHighly collaborative highly communicative creative team leader.\nExcellent presentation and communication skills.\nComfortable in a fast-paced open creative environment.\nAbility to lead workshops focus groups and presentations.\nCritical thinking and persuasive writing skills.\nFamiliarity with research methodologies and processes.\nHigh degree of flexibility and the ability to lead multiple projects in multiple teams across multiple markets.\nOutline of Duties\nWorking as a collaborative team member this individual will be responsible for:\nInitiate manage and coordinate risk management activities across all stages of projects.\nChair / facilitate risk management meetings.\nCoordinate with clients engineers contractors and consultancy team members on risk management activities at all levels.\nMonitor risk registers and trends across multiple projects within a program of works.\nCreate and maintain risk registers for projects (in formats approved by the clients).\nAdvise clients on risk management strategies and appropriate mitigation plans.\nWork with the team to provide cost information to enable quantitative assessment of risks.\nRecommend adjustments to risk registers (as necessary).\nAdvise clients on Risk Management best practices and improvements.\nLead and deliver all aspects of services from inception of a project through to completion.\nAchieve the highest standards of professional competence and to demonstrate this ability in all dealings with clients and professional contacts reinforcing the profile of the company.\nDrive performance standards and technical excellence through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process and AECOM technical practice networks.\nMaintain and develop good relationships with clients take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm as a provider of professional premium quality services to the construction industry.\nActively support the internal team and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects.\nAs an Associate you will also be actively involved developing marketing opportunities and where appropriate bring to the attention of Directors and the Business Development Department in order that they may assist in following up potential leads enabling the development of new business.\nManaging and delivering specific activities within projects including:\nClient interaction\nCommunication\nPlanning\nResearch\nData analytics\nVisualization\nWorkshop facilitation\nPresentation preparation and report writing\nCoordinating one or more project teams\n\nQualifications: \nMinimum 12 years relevant post education experience.\nBachelors and preferably
