BIM Technician III

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Technician III to join our innovative team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization you will lead advanced technical work utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to support complex construction projects in the region.
- Spearhead the development and implementation of BIM models for complex construction projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient BIM integration
- Manage and coordinate BIM-related aspects of projects including timelines and deliverables
- Analyze and resolve technical issues related to BIM implementation
- Mentor and supervise junior BIM technicians overseeing workflow and quality control
- Develop and maintain BIM standards templates and best practices
- Participate in client meetings to present BIM solutions and address technical queries
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and industry trends
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in the UAE
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for BIM processes and workflows
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in BIM technology and advanced technical work
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit AutoCAD and other relevant tools
- Strong knowledge of construction processes building systems and industry standards
- Excellent 3D modeling and visualization skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead teams
- Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering or a related field (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Familiarity with UAE building codes and regulations (preferred)
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and innovative approaches in BIM
- Strong project management skills and leadership abilities
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality control
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
