Join us.\n AECOM is seeking a strong bridge design leader for the position of Bridge Design Project Manager in the rapidly expanding Transportation Engineering Group in in Oakland, Ca.\nSpecifics of the role include:\nCoordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects.\nStrong emphasis on complex bridge design (including rail and metro transit) projects and deliveries.\nLeads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling.\nLeads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise.\nLeads technical business development work.\nProvides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.\nApproves and signs off on work.\nLeader in one or more areas of technology.\nProvides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large, complex projects.\nAs a member of this team, you will be a professional in dealing with colleagues of all levels and disciplines. This position is an opportunity to work within an established and successful group that offers a diverse range of projects, technical challenges and career development opportunities.\n Minimum Requirements:\nBachelor's degree + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.\nCalifornia state PE license or ability to attain reciprocity in possessing another U.S. state PE license within one year of employment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n12 + years' experience in bridge design and project deliveries.\nExtensive project design experience with complex bridge project work in CA. along with related structures project detail deliveries.\nStrong & proven success with business development and client relationships. This is a SELLER/DOER opportunity. \nExcellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing.\nStrong, proven and documented bridge project management experience & success and skills in California or regional project deliveries.\nProficiency in software such as MicroStation, LEAP Concrete/Bridge, MathCAD, and MDX\nKnowledge of 3D finite element software such as CSiBridge, MIDAS, SAP2000, etc. is a plus.\nStructural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software)\nKnowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable Codes.\nKnowledge of current structural modeling software tools.\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nRelocation not offered with this opportunity\nAECOM does not offer U.S. work sponsorship or sponsorship transfer with this opportunity.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
