Join us.\n We are looking for a Mid-Level Civil Engineer to join our Civil Design team. The successful candidate will be involved in the technical delivery of multidisciplinary projects, contributing to the production of technical and design documentation, BIM modelling, quantity take-offs and cost estimation, coordination of project interfaces, and support to project delivery activities.\nThe ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in civil and infrastructure engineering, a rigorous approach to document quality, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining direct interaction with clients and project stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop civil engineering designs across all project stages, including feasibility, preliminary, detailed, and construction design.\nProduce and review high-quality technical drawings and engineering deliverables.\nDevelop and manage discipline-specific BIM models, ensuring consistency and compliance with project standards.\nPrepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities.\nSupport technical coordination across multiple disciplines, including structures, MEP, architecture, environmental, and geotechnical teams.\nManage interfaces with clients, partners, and project stakeholders throughout project delivery.\nParticipate in design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination workshops.\nEnsure quality control of project documentation and the accurate preparation of final deliverable packages.\nEnsure compliance with project schedules, company standards, and contractual requirements.\n Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.\n6-8 years of experience within engineering consultancies, design firms, or infrastructure-related organisations.\nSound knowledge of civil and infrastructure design principles.\nProven experience in the production of technical drawings and engineering documentation.\nExperience with BIM software and workflows, preferably including Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.\nExperience in quantity take-offs, measurement, and cost estimation.\nBroad technical knowledge across the following areas: Highway and roadway design; Utilities and underground services; Drainage and stormwater management systems; Hydraulic infrastructure; Civil works associated with infrastructure projects.\nGood knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.\nFluent in Italian and English.\nSoft Skills:\nAbility to coordinate technical activities within multidisciplinary project teams.\nStrong team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate in multidisciplinary and international environments.\nExcellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs within project deadlines.\nAccuracy and diligence in reviewing project documentation and preparing final deliverable packages.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, partners, and colleagues.\nProactive and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.\nWillingness to work from the office when required by project needs, coordination activities, or client engagements.\n What we offer:\nAECOM: A World of Opportunities and Benefits\nAttractive Compensation Package: We offer a competitive salary along with a range of exclusive benefits, including hybrid work, meal vouchers, welfare program, resources for personal well-being and mental health, gym memberships, health insurance, laptop, smartphone, employee assistance program, business travel insurance, service recognition awards, and a pension savings plan.\nOffice in the Heart of Milan: Central location, with easy access to all the city's conveniences.\nWork Flexibility: We offer flexible work options to help you maintain an optimal work-life balance.\nPublic Transport Allowances: We help cover the costs of your daily commute.\nCulture of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Welcoming Workplaces: Our culture promotes a welcoming and respectful work environment.
