Grow here.\nAECOM's Civils Team has an immediate requirement for a Civil Engineer to undertake technical designs and project management and drive forward various civil infrastructure related commercial and residential development projects and to help develop the Company’s business.\nThe Business Unit is highly multi-disciplinary comprising civil & highway, structural, mechanical, and electrical/process engineers, architects, project managers and surveyors. Take advantage of career development opportunities, our flexible hybrid working model to ensure a work-life balance that suits your lifestyle, technical practice networks, AECOM University, and volunteering days.\n Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?\nRequirements:\nTo be commercially aware and able to assist a team of graduate engineers and technicians and successfully deliver projects to time, budget and quality.\nTo provide wide ranging highways, drainage and associated infrastructure design to deliver multi-disciplinary developments.\nHave detailed knowledge of drainage design including piped systems, SuDS based systems familiar with storage design and computer programmes such as InfoDrainage.\nHave experience in the preparation of Contract Drawings and Specifications and the negotiation of Section 38, 278, 104 and 106 Agreements.\nTo be able to produce and have knowledge in the design of highways, access roads and infrastructure of projects including the design of road geometry, earthworks, pavements, drainage and underground services.\nAssist the coaching and support of junior staff members to enable their development.\nPreferred Qualification:\nSignificant experience in UK development related infrastructure engineering; likely to be from a public/private/consultancy background.\nCivil Engineering degree or equivalent and working towards Chartered status (MICE).\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
