Join us.\n AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to be based in Buffalo, New York or Latham, New York.\nThis position is expected to begin in the Summer of 2027.\nThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:\nBuilds analytic and design skills.\nConducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.\nCreates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.\nCollects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.\nUses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.\nPerforms work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.\nMinimum Requirements:\nCandidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field with the intent to continue after the internship unless graduating.\nCandidates must have completed two years of study in their program.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nExperience with AutoCAD or MicroStation products.\n Relocation assistance is not available for this position.\nSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.\nThis position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in-office work in Buffalo or Latham, NY.
