The Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of marine construction projects, ensuring technical excellence, financial control, and client satisfaction. The role involves supporting the Resident Engineer/Team Leader in resolving project challenges, providing leadership to the construction team, and ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing marine construction projects, particularly jetties, and possess a deep understanding of construction methodologies, planning, and quality assurance.

  • Assisting and supporting Resident Engineer/Team Leader in resolving project issues.
  • Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
  • Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
  • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
  • May have budget responsibilities.
  • Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
  • Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
  • Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day
  • Prepare and present progress reports, ensuring transparency and alignment with client expectations.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience managing marine construction projects, with a strong preference for experience in jetty construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Proficiency in preparing reports, conducting progress reviews, and managing project documentation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and mentor subordinates.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate complex project issues and provide effective solutions.
