Join us.\n Leeding Builders Group is hiring for a Project Manager in New York City. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and client expectations.\nJoin our team of dedicated professionals committed to excellence, safety, and innovation.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage all phases of construction projects, including preconstruction, procurement, construction execution, and closeout.\nOversee project budgets, schedules, cost controls, and financial performance to ensure successful project delivery.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to meet project milestones.\nCoordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.\nCollaborate with superintendents and field teams to ensure construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.\nEnsure compliance with applicable NYC building codes, regulations, permitting requirements, and company safety and quality standards.\nProvides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.\n Minimum Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.\nRelevant experience in construction project management, engineering, or related construction operations.\nPreferred Requirements:\nExperience working for a general contractor or construction management firm in the New York City market.\nDemonstrated experience managing commercial interiors, corporate office, hospitality, residential, mixed-use, or ground-up construction projects.\nStrong understanding of NYC construction practices, building codes, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements.\nProven ability to manage multiple subcontractors, project budgets, schedules, and competing priorities.\nExperience with contract administration, change management, cost forecasting, and project financial reporting.\nProficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.\nAbility to manage projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.\n Additional Information:\nThis position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.\nQualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.\nThis position is not hybrid nor remote.\nTHIS POSTING IS FOR A CURRENT VACANCY, AND LEEDING BUILDERS GROUP INTENDS TO FILL THIS POSITION BY JANUARY 22ND, 2027.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
