Join us.\n AECOM is seeking a Construction Quality Assurance Inspector. Under general supervision, performs routine duties included, but not limited to:\nUse your prior experience leading the QA/QC and inspection major site infrastructure, horizontal sitework, vertical construction replacement and modernization projects.\nPrepare daily reports, review RFIs and submittals, develop and review punch list, maintain testing and project logs, verify payment applications and schedules.\nEvaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications. \nUtilize your advanced knowledge and understanding of site drawings, MOT plans, specifications, end-user policies and standards.\nConduct daily site safety inspections and toolbox meetings.\nIndependently perform walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design. \nPerform quantity surveys for tracking and reporting. \nProvide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors.\n Minimum Requirements:\nBA/BS + 2 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education\nConstruction Management Experience\nValid Driver’s License and as a condition of employment must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.\nDue to the nature of work, US citizenship is required\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n5+ years total experience of which 5+ years in a construction management role including experience providing QA/QC management and on-site inspection on construction projects.\nBachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering, or GIS.\nDisplays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work. \nMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, document control software such as e-builder, procure, navigating electronic files for specifications and drawings, completing daily reports, and maintaining daily project records.\n Relocation is not available for this position\nSponsorship is not available for this position\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
