Join us.\n AECOM is currently seeking a Design Project Manager that will work on behalf of the client to oversee projects design development from planning, scoping, design, and bid.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nManage the project development during pre-design and design phases of the project.\nManaging all aspects of consultant contracts, including review and approval of consultant requests for payments amendments, extension of schedule and contract closeout.\nManage the design development process and deliverables to get the project through design into bid and construction.\nDesign Project Managers may provide comment on technical review of design documents.\nPerform a high-level review of design for conformance with scope and stakeholder requirements\nManage estimated, value engineering, constructability review process by others.\nProvide technical assistance and recommendations to the Owner and client representatives.\nCoordinate with Project Management to resolve project and/or program issues.\nPerform required transactions utilizing client software such as:\nProvide design/schedule updates as need arises.\nPerform investigations of specific problems, including architectural/engineering analysis and recommendations.\nConsult with regulatory agencies regarding interpretations and applications.\nMonitor the services provided by professional consultants and meet to review and assist them in their submissions\nPrepare reports for management and clients.\nAct as liaison between client and end user and/or government agencies.\nArrange and conduct Field inspections with design consultants on site as needed, during for investigation, data gathering and design development phase.\nMinimum Requirements\nBA/BS in Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.\nPreferred Requirements\nAbility to simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities, particularly related to different stages of design and construction with multiple stakeholders.\nSuccessful track record in budgeting, design oversight, and construction management.\nStrong analytical, computer, and written and oral communication skills\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and adhere to deadlines\nEffective at public speaking, writing, and presenting to varied audiences.\nProficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word.
