Grow here.\n Performs BIM modeling and design tasks for HVAC mechanical systems on large-scale projects, particularly within the Middle East region. Works independently under limited supervision, applying strong technical knowledge to develop coordinated 3D models and construction documentation.\nSupports project delivery while contributing to BIM capability development and adherence to digital engineering standards.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelops and maintains 3D BIM models for HVAC systems using Autodesk Revit in line with project specifications and standards.\n\nProduces detailed construction drawings, layouts, and schematics (ducting, piping, equipment layouts, sections, and details).\n\nProvides direct project support and production for assigned projects, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.\n\nEnsures all outputs comply with BIM Execution Plan (BEP), Level of Development (LOD), and project standards.\n\nCoordinates with multidisciplinary teams (Architecture, Structure, MEP) to resolve clashes and ensure model integration.\n\nPerforms QA/QC checks on models and drawings to maintain quality and consistency.\n\nUtilizes and maintains Revit families, templates, and project standards.\n\nTechnical Excellence & Digital Delivery:\nProvides training and technical support to design staff on BIM tools, workflows, and best practices.\n\nAssists in resolving Revit modeling and coordination issues within the team.\n\nSupports implementation of BIM standards, libraries, and workflows.\n\nContributes to improving model efficiency, accuracy, and data integration.\n\nCompetencies:\nStrong technical aptitude in HVAC systems and BIM modeling.\n\nAttention to detail and commitment to quality.\n\nEffective coordination and communication skills.\n\nAbility to support and guide junior team members.\n\nProactive and solution-oriented mindset.\n\n 3+ years of experience in Revit-based HVAC mechanical design and drafting.\n\nProven experience in large-scale Middle East projects (commercial, residential, hospitality, or infrastructure).\n\nProficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) for HVAC systems.\n\nGood understanding of BIM processes, LOD, BEP, and coordination workflows.\n\nExperience with clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks).\n\nKnowledge of HVAC design principles and relevant codes/standards.\n\nAbility to work independently with limited supervision.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDiploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.\n\nExperience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).\n\nExposure to international standards and Middle East authority regulations.\n\n At AECOM, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity\nOur Freedom to Grow hybrid working philosophy is the cornerstone of our success as a business - supporting a culture of flexibility, trust and performance at AECOM.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
