Join us.\n We are looking for a Document Controller to join our infrastructure project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that all documents are properly registered, tracked, distributed, and maintained in accordance with project procedures.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, method statements, material submittals, Inspection Requests, technical submissions, and correspondence.\nRegister and track all incoming and outgoing documents using the project document management system.\nMaintain document registers and ensure documents are properly filed and easily accessible.\nControl document revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings and documents are available to the project team.\nDistribute documents to the relevant project stakeholders and maintain accurate transmittal records.\nTrack document status, approvals, comments, and outstanding submissions.\nFollow up with the Contractor, Client, Engineers, and project team regarding pending documents and overdue responses.\nMaintain records of drawings, technical submissions, approvals, correspondence, and meeting minutes.\nEnsure compliance with project document control procedures and reporting requirements.\nUse document management systems such as Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS, or similar platforms.\nAssist with document audits and maintain accurate project records throughout construction.\nManage project closeout documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, testing records, and handover documents.\nRequirements:\nDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Document Control, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nRelevant experience as a Document Controller on infrastructure or construction projects.\nGood knowledge of document control procedures and project documentation.\nExperience with Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS, or similar document management systems.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nGood communication and coordination skills.\nUAE experience on infrastructure projects is preferred.\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
