Join us.\n We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will oversee all documentation processes on-site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. You will supervise documentation activities, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with site teams to ensure seamless document management throughout project execution.\nSupervise and manage all site-based documentation processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission\nMaintain comprehensive document control systems and filing structures in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards\nCoordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to collect, review, and process site documentation\nEnsure all project documents are properly indexed, archived, and retrievable for audit and compliance purposes\nMonitor document workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce delays\nConduct regular audits of documentation practices to verify adherence to established protocols and quality standards\nPrepare and maintain documentation reports, logs, and status updates for management review\nLiaise with relevant authorities and external parties regarding documentation requirements specific to Abu Dhabi and UAE regulations\nTrain and guide site personnel on proper documentation procedures and best practices\nIdentify and resolve documentation discrepancies or non-compliance issues promptly\nMaintain confidentiality and security of sensitive project documents and information\n Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar document management role, preferably in a site-based environment\nDemonstrated supervisory or coordination experience managing documentation teams or processes\nStrong proficiency with document management systems and software\nExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks\nMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in record-keeping\nSolid understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory standards in construction or engineering projects\nKnowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi-specific documentation and compliance requirements (preferred)\nProficiency in Aconex\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
