Join us.\n AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Drainage Engineer for employment in the Orlando, Florida office, due to a robust and growing backlog. As an AECOM Drainage Engineer in the Orlando office, you can look forward to:\nWorking on diverse projects including various assignments for the Department of Transportation and local municipalities throughout Florida and other states.\nWork with a hands-on and supportive manager, who will work with you to develop a 5 year career development plan incorporating your desires and input.\nWork with a high profile team in a collegial work environment, who supporting multiple large project in multiple states.\nThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:\nDeveloping strong working relationships with clients and staff plus maintain a high level of project standards and meeting or ideally exceeding client expectations\nPerform drainage design and production for Transportation projects including calculations and plans preparation\nWorks under the direction of senior staff to develop plans and calculations for Transportation projects\nUnderstands applicable policies, methods, practices, and procedures of drainage design\nAssists in the design of collection and conveyance systems for Transportation projects\nAssists in design of stormwater management facilities to meet water quality and quantity requirements\n Minimum Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline and 6 years of experience as a Drainage Engineer or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education\nExperience performing engineering analysis for drainage design associated with Transportation projects\nPreferred Qualifications:\nState of Florida - Professional Engineer (PE) \nExperience in design of drainage conveyance systems and plans prepared in compliance with FDOT standards\nExperience in pond design\nExperience in the following software: OpenRoads, or other equivalent CAD software, HY-8, ICPR, and MS Office \nStrong communication and collaboration skills\n Relocation assistance is not available for this role.\nSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. \nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
