Join us.\n We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Engineer - Design to join our engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electrical systems and components that meet our organization's technical specifications and industry standards. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative electrical solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.\nDesign and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components using industry-standard CAD and simulation tools\nConduct technical analysis and feasibility studies to evaluate design concepts and performance parameters\nCreate detailed schematics, technical drawings, and comprehensive documentation for manufacturing and implementation\nPerform circuit simulations and modeling to validate designs and optimize performance before production\nCollaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical components\nEnsure all designs comply with relevant electrical codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements\nTroubleshoot design issues and implement corrective measures to enhance system reliability and efficiency\nParticipate in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines\nReview and evaluate vendor specifications and components for compatibility with design requirements\nMaintain organized project files and documentation for traceability and future reference\n Proficiency in electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, or equivalent design tools\nStrong knowledge of electrical design principles, circuit theory, and power distribution systems\nExperience with electrical simulation and analysis tools (SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, or similar)\nDemonstrated experience in schematic design and PCB layout development\nSolid understanding of electrical standards and codes (IEC, IEEE, or regional equivalents)\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail\nAbility to create clear and comprehensive technical documentation\nExperience with project management and cross-functional team collaboration\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously\nProficiency in technical communication and presentation skills\nPreferred: Experience with power systems, renewable energy, or industrial electrical applications\nPreferred: Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian or Middle Eastern market and regional requirements\nPreferred: Knowledge of advanced simulation tools and modeling techniques\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
