Due to significant growth fuelled by a robust pipeline of major infrastructure projects and programmes.\nWhat you’ll do\nThe Enabling Works Project Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of early-stage enabling works across major infrastructure or development programmes. This includes activities such as site preparation, utility diversions, demolition, surveys, and other essential pre-construction works. The role ensures these activities are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, enabling a smooth transition into the main construction phase.\nWithin the MetroLink programme, the Enabling Works Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of all enabling works packages, specifically the Enabling Work M100 Contract packages (M110 M170). Apply today\n Qualifications\nHere’s what we’re looking for:\nAn Irish National Framework Qualification Level 8 or higher in Civil Engineering or related discipline. International applicants will hold an equivalent recognised by the International Engineering Alliance (from a signatory of the Washington Accord).\nDegree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) is highly desirable. \n5-9 years’ relevant experience in the design and delivery of major roads, major public transport, light rail, rail, or enabling works projects. Or similar transferable experience from water, energy, or utilities sectors. \nProven track record of leading project teams and delivering projects to programme and budget. \nStrong knowledge of Irish and European design standards, planning processes, and statutory requirements. \nExperience preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, specifications, and tender documents. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. \nCommercial and financial awareness within a package or project environment working with a supply chain. \nExperience of developing and forming relationships with stakeholders at all levels\nDesirable experience / Qualifications:\nThe following are areas of desirable skillsets and qualifications for the role:\nProject Management Qualifications, such as PMP \nConstruction Manager Qualifications, such as CCM \nNEC3/4 ECC Supervision Accreditation \nChartership, or close to Chartership in relevant professional body \nOSHA Safety Certification \nProfessional registration with institution e.g. ChPP - or working towards this \nWe celebrate diversity, including neurodiversity, and believe it enriches our team.
