Join us.\n We're looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative **Engineer - Infrastructure** to join our dynamic team in Al Khafji, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that infrastructure works are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all technical specifications and project requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative professional who is passionate about infrastructure development and committed to delivering high-quality results.\nSupport the supervision and monitoring of infrastructure construction activities, including roads, earthworks, drainage systems, and utility networks (water, sewerage, electrical, and telecom).\nConduct technical reviews of contractor submissions, including shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and construction programs.\nMonitor construction progress, quality standards, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.\nPerform site inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities to ensure all works meet project standards and specifications.\nCoordinate with contractors, clients, utility authorities, designers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum.\nPrepare and maintain accurate site records, progress reports, inspection documentation, and project files.\nAnalyze construction programs and identify potential delays, risks, or resource constraints that may impact project delivery.\nSupport the review of Inspection Requests (IRs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).\nAssist in monitoring interfaces between different infrastructure components to ensure seamless integration.\nParticipate in progress meetings and provide clear, analytical updates on project performance and outstanding works.\nEnsure compliance with project quality, health and safety, and environmental requirements at all times.\nSupport commissioning activities and handover documentation, including as-built records and operational manuals.\nCollaborate with the project team to identify innovative solutions and process improvements for infrastructure delivery.\n **Required Qualifications:**\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nMinimum eight (8) years of experience in infrastructure engineering. \nProven experience in site supervision, inspection, or delivery of infrastructure projects.\nStrong technical knowledge of infrastructure systems, including roads, earthworks, drainage, sewerage, potable water, and utility networks.\nSolid understanding of construction contracts, technical specifications, and quality procedures.\nExperience with progress monitoring, technical reviews, and construction inspections.\nProficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office applications.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.\nKnowledge of health and safety compliance and environmental requirements in construction.\nAbility to analyze technical information and solve problems efficiently and collaboratively.\n**Preferred Qualifications:**\nExperience on major infrastructure projects in the Middle East or similar regions.\nFamiliarity with construction management software and digital documentation systems.\nExperience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing contractor relationships.\nKnowledge of budget management and cost awareness in infrastructure projects.\nProfessional certifications in civil engineering or construction management.\nExperience with testing, commissioning, and handover procedures for infrastructure works.\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
