Join us.\n AECOM Enterprise Capabilities is seeking a motivated and talented Civil Engineer II to join our Linear Infrastructure and Site Civils Team in Bogotá D.C. This role supports the design and development of highway, urban road, and airport infrastructure projects, contributing to the preparation of geometric design solutions from conceptual layouts through detailed design stages. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, gaining experience in international and national infrastructure projects.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist in the development of geometric designs for highways, urban roads, and airport projects under the guidance of senior engineers.\nSupport the design of earthworks, platforms, and traffic signage (horizontal and vertical).\nPrepare and update 3D models of road corridors, airport platforms, runways, taxiways, and terrain surfaces using Autodesk Civil 3D.\nParticipate in the preparation of design reports, technical documentation, specifications, and quantity take-offs.\nEnsure that assigned design tasks comply with applicable local and international standards.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams (drainage, structures, lighting, pavements, etc.).\nParticipate in technical meetings and internal design reviews, supporting validation and quality checks.\nCoordinate with CAD designers and modelers to ensure the accuracy of project deliverables.\n Minimum Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related fields.\n4 years of proven experience in geometric roadway design (including highways and urban roads).\nProficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (required).\nBasic knowledge of AASHTO standards and/or local roadway design regulations.\nExperience assisting in the development of designs up to detailed construction documentation.\nTechnical English proficiency (reading design standards and specifications).\nCommunication - Fluent in English (oral and written) B2.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with additional design software such as InfraWorks, Navisworks, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer.\nFamiliarity with Autodesk Subassembly Composer or Dynamo (desirable).\nBasic knowledge of road safety audits or complementary elements (drainage, barriers, landscaping).\nSpecialization or certifications in roadway geometric design or related fields (a plus).\nStrong interest in professional growth and learning advanced design tools.\n Relocation assistance is not available for this position.\nSponsorship for Colombia work authorization is not available for this position, now or in the future.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
