Join us.\n AECOM is seeking an experienced Engineer - Material for a major Roads and Infrastructure and bridges projects located in Dubai. The role involves both inspection and the supervision of Roads and Infrastructure works of the project and to ensure that the activities are being executed in accordance with the project specification.\nJob Duties\nReview and Approval of the Contractor’s proposed materials and methods as delegated by the Resident Engineer.\nPreparation of Material Engineer’s Daily Diary.\nGeneral oversight of the Contractor’s daily activities including works assignments, on-site performance and guidance on the supervision of the Contractor’s operations.\nAttend factory visits, suppliers plant inspection as required\nFollow up testing and approvals from the relevant authorities\nReview of Contractor’s testing requests and subsequent completed reports.\nReview and Approval of the Contractor’s Submissions as delegated by the Resident Engineer.\nMonitoring the performance of the material delivery and accuracy of materials used at site\nCoordination with Contractor’s supervisory personnel regarding schedule, sequence and method of work.\nMonitoring conformance with the Contractor’s schedule.\nContinuous Field Inspections of the work in the progress and consultation with both the Resident Engineer’s and Contractor’s supervisory staff.\nPreparation of written and oral reports to the Resident Engineer on contractual and procedural matters.\nQualification\nRelevant BSc Degree from a recognized University\nMust be a holder of Dubai Central Laboratory approval\nExperience\nWork experience of not less than 10years in design, construction and supervision of roads, bridges and infrastructure\nHe must also have a full knowledge of existing infrastructure networks in the Emirates of Dubai\nExtensive knowledge and experience in the conduct of quality inspections with hands on experience of ISO9000 quality systems\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
