Join us.\n We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer - Structural to a supervision project in Dubai. In this role, you will oversee and manage structural engineering aspects of new roads and bridges.\nJob Duties\nSupervise and coordinate structural engineering activities on construction sites\nConduct site inspections to ensure adherence to approved plans and quality standards\nCollaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues\nFollow up set inspection for installations and review inspector’s performance on a regular basis.\nUpdate progress for all assigned works to the project manager to include in his reports\nReview updated records that would form as built records\nCheck and coordinate for all assigned services\nCoordinate with Head office (Design) for all material reviews and design queries\nImplement and maintain quality control procedures for structural elements\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members\nParticipate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and address concerns\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred)\nProfessional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification\nMinimum of 8 years’ experience in construction supervision of operation and maintenance of bridges and roads.\nStrong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards in the UAE\nExcellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously\nAdvanced problem-solving and analytical skills\nExceptional technical report writing and communication abilities\nExperience in managing large-scale construction projects\nIn-depth understanding of building materials, methods, and quality control processes\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment\nWillingness to travel to various project sites within the UAE\nRTA Approved is preferred\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
