Join us.\n We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer - Dry Utilities to join our infrastructure project team in Abu Dhabi, with experience in dry utilities and infrastructure works.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupervise and monitor the construction of dry utility infrastructure works, including electrical, telecom, street lighting, and associated utility networks.\nOversee construction activities including utility ducts, chambers, manholes, cable routes, sleeves, crossings, and associated infrastructure works.\nEnsure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and project requirements.\nReview Contractor submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, inspection requests, and other technical documents.\nMonitor site progress, quality, workmanship, and compliance with approved project requirements.\nCoordinate with the Contractor, Authorities, utility providers, stakeholders, and other disciplines to resolve technical and construction-related issues.\nMonitor testing and inspection of dry utility networks and ensure all required inspections and approvals are completed.\nIdentify technical issues, construction risks, and potential delays and coordinate with the project team to implement appropriate corrective actions.\nCoordinate interfaces between dry utilities and other infrastructure elements, including roads, wet utilities, structures, landscaping, and other services.\nReview site conditions and proposed construction solutions and provide technical recommendations where required.\nMonitor the Contractor’s compliance with approved construction methodologies, ITPs, specifications, and quality requirements.\nMaintain proper records of site inspections, progress, technical issues, RFIs, and construction activities.\nParticipate in site meetings, progress meetings, technical discussions, and coordination meetings with the Contractor and relevant stakeholders.\nEnsure that health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements are properly implemented on site.\n Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nMinimum 7+ Years relevant experience in infrastructure and dry utilities.\nProven experience in infrastructure and dry utilities construction.\nGood knowledge of electrical, telecom, street lighting, utility ducts, chambers, and associated infrastructure works.\nExperience in construction supervision, inspection, quality control, and coordination with Contractors.\nGood understanding of construction drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and technical submissions.\nExperience working on major infrastructure projects is preferred.\nUAE infrastructure and Authority experience is an advantage.\nStrong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team and manage multiple site activities.\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
