Join us.\n AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Engineering Intern interested in joining the AECOM team in our Philadelphia, PA or Conshohocken, PA offices.\nInternships at AECOM offer students the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in engineering, design, and infrastructure projects that make a real-world impact. Additionally, AECOM’s dedication to innovation and sustainability enables interns to contribute to meaningful projects that help shape communities and the built environment.\nThis position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2027.\nThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:\nApplying technical training to perform basic calculations, work well in a team setting and be willing to work diligently to learn new skills.\nAssisting with tasks related to the design, analysis, rehabilitation, and inspection of highway bridges and ancillary transportation structures.\nAssisting with preliminary to final design calculations and plan development, reviewing of field information, possible field inspection of existing facilities.\nAssisting with general office administration, including technical report reproduction.\n Minimum Requirements:\nCandidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and must have completed at least 2 years of study at the time of the internship. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship. \nDue to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required for this position.\nValid U.S. Driver’s License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM’s motor vehicle records review.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCurrently enrolled in Rowan University's engineering program.\nProficiency in MS Office Suite.\nProficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software.\nTeam oriented with strong communication skills.\nAbility to manage time, deadlines, keep track of steps, and prioritize tasks.\n Relocation assistance is not available for this position.\nSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.\nThis is a hybrid position.
