This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027.\nThe event kicks off on Thursday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.\nOn Thursday and Friday, interviews will take place at our New York office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.\nAECOM is seeking anEntry-Level Structural Engineer to be based in Piscataway, New Jersey.\nThis position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2027.\nThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:\nProvides specialized technical input to studies and designs for staff's specific areas of expertise.\nDevelops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.\nParticipates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.\nDevelops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.\nUses expertise in all steps of completing the discipline component of the PS&E package.\nPerforms quality control review of design calculations or drawings.\nPrepares technical specification sections.\nProvides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. \nValid U.S. Driver’s License.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStructural/bridge engineering coursework.\nRelevant job experience, work or internship, is a plus.\nEIT/FE Certification or ability to obtain prior to the start date.\nExperience as an Intern, Co-op, or other professional development.\nExperience or education in reinforced concrete and/or structural steel design.\nAbility to work with a diverse team located in the Piscataway, NJ.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy of work.\nAbility to multi-task and be flexible, along with ability to adapt to project deadlines.\nAbility to apply passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive team-oriented work environment.\n Relocation assistance is not available for this position.\nSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.\nThis position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Piscataway, NJ.
