Join us.\n We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Façade Engineer - Design to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing building façade systems that meet both aesthetic and performance requirements. You will work collaboratively with architects, structural engineers, and project teams to deliver high-quality façade solutions that comply with local and international building standards while addressing the unique environmental challenges of the region.\nDesign and develop façade systems including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing solutions using advanced CAD and BIM software\nConduct detailed technical analysis of façade performance, including thermal, acoustic, and structural considerations\nPrepare comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and manufacturing\nEvaluate and select appropriate materials and systems based on project requirements, climate conditions, and sustainability objectives\nEnsure all designs comply with Saudi Arabian building codes, regulations, and international standards\nCollaborate with architects and structural engineers to integrate façade systems with building design and structural elements\nAnalyze building envelope performance and recommend solutions for energy efficiency and moisture management\nPrepare detailed cost estimates and material specifications for façade systems\nParticipate in design reviews, presentations, and client meetings to communicate technical solutions\nTroubleshoot design challenges and develop innovative solutions to complex façade engineering problems\nMaintain organized project documentation and ensure quality control throughout the design process\n Proven 10 Years of experience in façade design and engineering, preferably in commercial or high-rise building projects\nAdvanced proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM modeling tools\nStrong knowledge of building envelope systems, curtain walls, and cladding technologies\nComprehensive understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations applicable to façade systems\nExpertise in thermal and moisture management, acoustic performance, and structural integration\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail\nAbility to prepare technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nExcellent communication and presentation skills in English\nProficiency in project coordination and cross-functional team collaboration\nPreferred: Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and parametric design tools\nPreferred: Knowledge of sustainability principles and energy-efficient façade design\nPreferred: Familiarity with local building regulations and climate considerations in the Middle East region\nPreferred: Experience with project management and client communication\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
