As part of our team, you will work on large environmental projects across America, and support ERM’s projects worldwide. This is a fixed-term position based in our Bucharest, Romania office.\nJob Summary:\nWorks under general supervision.\nMay program for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) design, mapping and analysis.\nUnder supervision, contributes to the design of databases or development of geodatabases and systems, as well as compiles and analyzes GIS data.\nMay enter information or supervise technicians to assemble input and output.\nCreates, analyzes, reports, converts or transfers data using GIS software. \nReceives instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutionAssistance furnished on unusual problems and work reviewed for application of sound professional judgment.\nThe responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:\nProduce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphics of engineering designs using computer-aided drafting software\nRequires a good working knowledge of ArcMap Pro\nArcGIS -Esri suite of software\nProduce detailed, high-quality cartographic products and accompanying reports\nCompile, manipulate and refine geographic data from a variety of sources including, but not limited to field observation, digital aerial photography, and existing maps\nPerform regular quality control checks of GIS Data and non-spatial databases\n Minimum Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in civil or surveying drafting design.\nProficiency in GIS software tools, such as ArcGIS, ArcMap, ArcMap Pro, QGIS\nExperience managing small projects and mentoring junior staff.\nExcellent organization skills and attention to detail.\nGeneral knowledge of basic geologic principles and the environmental sciences.\nProficiency in standard office suite software applications.\nAbility to demonstrate professional demeanor in written and verbal communications with clients, regulatory officials, and fellow employees.\nAbility to write and to convey complex thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner.
