- Works under general direction.
- Programs and applies a broad range of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) database, and spreadsheet software for GIS design, mapping and analysis.
- Independently contributes to the design of databases or development of geodatabases and systems, as well as compiles and analyzes GIS data.
- May evaluate commercial GIS applications, as well as design and develop GIS applications for internal use and for client deliverables.
- Independently performs most assignments with instruction as to the general results expected.
- Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Surveying, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 12 years of professional GIS experience
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience supporting major rail, metro, or infrastructure projects
- Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS and spatial database management
- Demonstrated expertise in mapping and geospatial analysis
- Exceptional analytical and technical reporting capabilities
- Proven ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience integrating GIS data with Building Information Modeling (BIM), engineering systems, and asset management platforms
- Advanced competency in geospatial data integration and systems architecture
